Jo Balfour is a senior B2B technology revenue and marketing operator with more than two decades of experience building and scaling growth across APAC and EMEA.
She works with ambitious companies navigating change and growth - aligning strategy with execution to drive pipeline, partner revenue and market expansion.
Her experience spans revenue marketing, partner ecosystems, field marketing, communications and owned/earned media.
Jo is engaged when companies need senior marketing leadership without adding permanent headcount - stabilising fragmented growth before accelerating it.
She previously helped global and regional leadership roles at Confluent (NASDAQ: CFLT) where she launched and scaled the revenue marketing function across 10 APAC markets, and founded the international partner marketing function for EMEA and APAC, partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud (GCP), alongside consulting partners (GSIs), Accenture, Deloitte and Cagemini, as well as Regional Systems Integrators (RSIs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
Earlier, she founded Progressiva, advising technology companies including DocuSign, PagerDuty and Acquia on communications and demand generation.
Her career also includes regional marketing leadership across 14 Asia-Pacific marketing at Amadeus IT Group in Bangkok, along with roles at Toshiba and agency leadership positions in Sydney and London with Ogilvy and TEAM LEWIS, including work on the launch of Salesforce in APAC.
As a dual UK / Australian citizen, Jo operates across ANZ, APAC, EMEA and the UK, and speak English, German.
